The nearest option for intermediate skiers, apart from our own ski slope with lift, is one of the best known places in the Czech Republic for winter recreation - Pec pod Sněžkou, Černý důl and Jánské Lázně. Here are available 10 lifts and one 4-seat cableway (7500m long, capacity of 8750 skiers per hour). Different challenging and long slopes are perfectly adapted by groomers and snow cannons. Most of them are illuminated for night skiing. The ski slope "Na muldě" is reserved only for snowboarders.

From Cihlářka you will get to the highest slopes "Zahrádky" in a minute.

Recommended routes from Pec pod Sněžkou to the nearest surroundings include to Červený vrch (7,6 km), Pěnkavčí vrch (9,6 km), then circular routes to Malá Úpa (11 km), to Portášova bouda (1,5 km), to Jánské Lázně to the Mladé Buky (13,5 km) and to Černý Důl around Cihlářka (5 km).

There is one tri-chair lift and ten tows of a total length of 8 km with a transport capacity of 7310 people per hour. 65% of the ski slopes is artificially snowed. This resort includes Skipark Mladé Buky and Skipark Dolní Dvůr.

The most remote place for skiing in Jánské Lázně (9 km). There are available 2 cableways (Protěž and Černá hora) and 12 ski lifts of different types and length suitable for beginners and also for advanced skiers. Ski slopes are up to 3 km long and belong to the longest ski slopes in the Czech Republic. They are located in southeast of the Černá hora mountain and Světlá hora mountain.

For cross-country skiers are edited 50 km of tracks, sled riders can try 3,5 km long Černohorská sáňkařská cesta track. The best known cross-country track from Jánské Lázně to Pec pod Sněžkou has two tracks (7,5 km and 9 km).
